 Department of Computer Engineering of K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, (KJSIEIT), Sion, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, an Autonomous engineering institute is approved by AICTE, DTE, and permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai is organizing “IET, ISTE and University of Mumbai” approved One week Faculty Development Program on " Quantum Computing ” from 12th to 17th Dec 2022 in hybrid mode for Students, Faculties, Industry Professionals, Research scholars of various Institutes.

 About KJSIEIT:
Re-accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade (3.21 CGPA) upto 31st December 2026.
Two UG programs are re-accredited and one UG program is first time accredited by the National Board of Accreditation up to June 2025.
Presented Best College Award by the University of Mumbai for A.Y. 2018-19 (Urban Region), CSI (Mumbai Chapter) and ISTE (MH & Goa Section)

 Program Objectives:
To learn Mathematics required for Quantum Computing.
To Understand the building blocks of Quantum Computing and design algorithm
To Understand Quantum hardware principles and tools for Quantum Computing.
 To explore various research opportunities and challenges in the domain of Quantum Computing for developing applications.

Appraise various mathematical models required for Quantum computing and  evaluate various Quantum computing algorithms.
